Spring has sprung, albeit slowly!

After a pretty incredible winter, it is finally beginning to warm up. Another bike season will soon be with us. We will be meeting at the Marina in Brattleboro tonight at 5:30 p.m. to plan our schedule for this year. The Putney Bicycle Club will once again provide munchies. After we draft our schedule, many of us will stay for dinner.
The Marina recently reopened after extensive renovations. When I made arrangements for our meeting, I was asked to have at least some of our members come prepared to pay cash for their dinners and drinks, or get together to put their charges on a fewer number of credit cards.
We expect to have our schedule for this season completed before our first ride on Tuesday, April 8th at 5:00 p.m. With your help, that can happen.
We hope that you will be able to join us in two weeks, and lead a ride. If you are unable to meet with us at the Marina, please e-mail me a brief description of a ride that you are willing to coordinate, and the date. Please note that many local restaurants are not open on Tuesday nights. Many of us prefer pot luck dinners after our rides. I will send a draft of our schedule to all of the trip leaders before we post it to our website at [http://putneybicycleclub.blogspot.com/] and on our Facebook page.
We look forward to seeing you in two weeks, and on the road. Please let me know if you have any questions in the interim.
           Thanks,
