Hungry Lion Bicycle Tour

Whitingham VT

Oct 1st

See website and registration info below.

Who wouldn't want to take part of a fairly challenging foliage ride that ends with a home style BBQ and licensed massage therapist?

We're hoping to see you and your friends for a great day riding beautiful back roads.

First Annual Hungry Lion Bicycle Tour at the
Whitingham Vermont Fall Foliage Festival
Saturday, October 1, 2011

Pedal one of two challenging bicycle tours while enjoying the fall foliage season in Southern Vermont – all while supporting a good cause. What could be better?

The Hungry Lion Bicycle Tour is part of The Whitingham Fall Foliage Festival, sponsored by Deerfield Valley Velo, the Town of Whitingham and the Whitingham-Halifax Lions Club. Enjoy some classic New England riding (with some invigorating uphills and thrilling descents) through the Berkshire and Green Mountains.

After the ride, your entry fee entitles you to feast on a special pork BBQ served by Chef John Schacter at spectacular Town Hill in Whitingham.

To register, please visit the website: www.whitinghamfoliagefestival.com
Cost: $40 entry fee. If you raise $100 or more, the fee is waived. Includes BBQ.
Premiums: We will have prizes for individual & team fundraising.
Two different rides: Both are marshaled with route support / motorcycle assist.
Rest stop complete with snacks and beverages.
Post-ride Massage therapist: Robin Mathiesen - In Touch Healing Arts.
The Hungry Lion Bicycle Tour is a fundraiser for the Lions Club, supporting the Lions annual Holiday Food Baskets and other community support programs.

For more information or for directions to the festival, please visit http://www.whitinghamfoliagefestival.com/hungry-lion-bike-tour.html.
