A New Trend in Road Racing?
Article in New York Times about challenging 100+ mile road races, on courses of asphalt, dirt, and gravel, titled "Where Riders Tackle Potholes and Gravel." The race the paper examined was in Louisiana, called "Rouge Roubaix." We have our own two famous races in our neck of the woods: Battenkill-Roubaix, and the Deerfield Dirt Road Randonee.
