Dear Cyclists,
I'm writing to let you know about an upcoming time trial at Incline Training in Greenfield, MA on Sunday, March 8, 2008, that will benefit Best Buddies Massachusetts, a non-profit friendship program for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The course for the time trial is the CompuTrainer 10K TT. 8 person heats will begin at 11:30AM, with a celebrity heat, including New England's premier amateur team, Team Fiordifrutta at 10:30am. Cost for this event is $35, with proceeds from the entries going directly to support Best Buddies' local programs.
Best Buddies is also currently promoting our annual 100 mile fundraising ride that runs from the Kennedy Library in Boston to the Kennedy Compound on Cape Cod, and ends with massages, a lobster/clam bake and a private concert with the B-52s. Info about this ride is available at www.hpchallenge.org. This is a major fundraiser that supports Best Buddies' work locally, and your support is greatly appreciated by the numerous individuals with intellectual disabilities living in the Connecticut River Valley.
